tntgoodwin
So, I took the Concerta for a few weeks, but couldn't stand the side effects (sweating, flushing, overheating etc while working out - much more than normal) and the fact that I couldn't see much, if any, improvement in my symptoms. I stopped for a couple weeks and they went away. So today is my first day on Adderall XR. Here's hoping it goes better! tntgoodwin
I am pretty sure I noticed a bigger difference from one day of Adderall than 2 weeks of Concerta... so far no problems!
TheTwinsMom1
Good luck in your switch. I also had problems with the ADHD meds, made me a zombie. Hope you find one that works well for you.
Ottakee
If those don't work, ask about Dexedrine spansules. It is a longer acting, older ADHD med. It is the only one that works for my girls and we have no side effects.
tntgoodwin
By the way, the Adderall has been working great the last few months. I am going to try to increase the dosage slightly when I see my doctor this week. I feel about 60-75% of where I would like to be, and the doc wants the meds to get me to 80% as long as the side effects are bearable. Adderall is what works for me as well.
