FairyMom Posted February 26, 2012 Author Share Posted February 26, 2012 She pranced into the room and rolled over at our feet for us to pet her belly. I don't think I've met a sweeter dog. Even our youngest was hugging on her. We can't wait to bring her home. Although, it's way more paperwork than either of my girls ever were! :lol: We filled out a seven-page application today and will have a home visit within a week. mom4him Posted February 26, 2012 Share Posted February 26, 2012 We have adopted 2 different dogs from a shelter. One was not such a good experience but our Australian shepherd is a really love. It took her almost a year to get used to our two youngest kids and she still hides for a bit when my grand kids come but is always gentle and loving when she gets up the courage to come out of hiding.:D Those 4-legged family members are a real blessing.
