*Lulu*
Teaching students to work independently, and Homeschooling the real child (I think this is the name) are both very good.
GoVanGogh
Teaching students to work independently, and Homeschooling the real child (I think this is the name) are both very good. :iagree: My favorites!
blondeviolin
Awesome! I'll buy these and I think the writing one focused on elementary-aged kids (because I'm still slightly fuzzy on how to get proper narrations). :D
Colleen in NS
Any particularly good ones? All of them. :D Seriously. I loved them all. Very helpful to me.
Sebastian (a lady)
Teaching students to work independently, and Homeschooling the real child (I think this is the name) are both very good. These are both really good. Ironically, the Teach Your Child to Work Independently convicted me that I was expecting too much independence in some subjects from my older kids and in most areas from my youngest. I hadn't scaffolded them well into independent work. What I would Do Differently by Jessie Wise is another good one. Actually I can't think of any I'm disappointed with. The Real Child, however, is a gem. And it's worth looking at the lecture notes, which include a bunch of pictures of her family. That way you'll know why everyone is laughing. blondeviolin
I'm actually having difficulty downloading the Real Child lecture. I've tried a few times now and it opens in a new window with the audio (quicktime) going...but I want to SAVE it. I have two more downloads left and I'm hesitant to try it because I don't want to waste my downloads and not get to save it. Ideas?
QuirkyKidAcademy
That happened to me. Let me think about how I solved it - I was finally able to save to iTunes and burn to a disc for listening in my car on a long trip alone. Hmmmmmm...... In the Rain
Homeschooling the Real Child was my favorite too. I also had trouble saving it. I think someone at PHP ended up emailing it to me. A friend had to burn it to CD for me, as I never could get it to work on my Mac.
MomsintheGarden
I've only listened to the Plan for Writing, Literature, and What I Would Do Differently. They have all been wonderful, so I would imagine that you can't go wrong with any of them. I like to listen to them when I fold laundry. :)
