BrookValley.
I'm in a rut in the kitchen and I need to shake things up a bit...would anyone care to share their favorite web resources for good, whole food based recipes? I have a lot of cookbooks, but I'm bored with them and at the moment, free is best. :D Vegetarian/vegan preferred, though a site that simply has good vegetarian choices is fine (like Cookus Interuptus--they have both meat-based recipes as well as some great veg stuff. Unfortunately, I think I know every recipe on that site inside and out). I have been relying on variations of the same theme for our meals lately, and none of them good (pasta, veg "chicken" nuggets & oven fries, pasta...pasta...). I know better, I've just been really busy. But now it's time to get back to basics and start cookin' up some good food around here. TIA. :001_smile:
In the Rain
Cookus Interuptus was going to be my suggestion. I love their massaged kale salad. VegSource has lots of recipes too.
ladydusk
I think the Whole Foods site has a lot of good recipes. I don't look for vegan/vegetarian though, so I don't know what that selection is like.

HappyLady
These aren't necessarily 'whole foods,' but they're good for new ideas! :) http://www.theppk.com http://vegandad.blogspot.com/ http://veganyumyum.com/ http://www.vegweb.com/ http://www.pcrm.org/ http://www.peta.org/living/vegetarian-living/recipes/default.aspx
tammyw
These look good! We aren't vegan or vegetarian, but I like to attempt more dishes of the sort. I do like the Veganimicon cookbook.

Rbsmrter
I'm not sure how old your kids are, but have you ever tried weelicious? She has a lot of toddler friendly food and baby purees but she also has a lot of vegetarian and vegan options that are family friendly. You'll have to sift through a few non vegetarian recipes, but it's worth it!
BrookValley.
ooohhh, lots of good suggestions so far. Some I have seen but had forgotten, some are new to me. Thanks so much for all your responses! :D

Pippen
I'm not vegetarian but I bookmarked this site just this morning. Heck, I'm not even a big veggie fan but the recipes look so lovely I want to explore some more. http://www.101cookbooks.com/index.html
