JFSinIL
Oh, never mind the local PBS stations - just found out only the Brits will get the Xmas special tomorrow night ..... except I bet it shows up on the link above ;) within a day or two (have already seen all of season two thanks to fastpass tv - which link I got from a thread on these boards! AuntieM
Do the events of the Christmas episode take place between seasons one and two, or elsewhere along the series timeline?

This is what we have done, too. I know we will be checking and checking to see when the special is available! AuntieM - I'm guessing the events of the Christmas special will take place at the end of season two.
Word Nerd
It will run on PBS after season 2 airs, as is the case in the UK (season two has already aired there). I assume you wouldn't want to watch it between seasons if you haven't watched season 2 yet to avoid spoilers.
MyLittleBears
These aren't free are they? I just watched 62 minutes of episode 1 Season 2 and it won't let me finish the episode unless I sign up.

Not sure, but it will be airing on PBS Masterpiece starting in January.
