Dmmetler
for digital checkouts? I'm using our public library's Overdrive Digital downloads a lot, but it's got a fairly limited collection. Does anyone have a really, really great library with a lot of digital checkouts through Overdrive that allows out of area folks to pay to get a library card? Especially one with a good non-fiction library? I'd gladly pay $50 or so a year for that privilege.
QuirkyKidAcademy
I know nonresidents can get a card for the Philadelphia free library for $35 fee.
TexasRachel
Yup. Love the selection at Philadelphia free library. Also check with relatives. I'm going to borrow my brother's Seattle card because they have a good selection as well.
stripe
My local library allows non-residents to get a card, but it's pretty pricey, so I'd go with Philadelphia! I found this list http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/2011/09/22/library-ebooks-for-non-residents-where-to-get-ebooks-if-your-library-is-lacking/
