Poll: What size bed do you and your DH share?

My kids have their own kids beds but sometimes they fall asleep at my bed. We have a queen size bed and my kids are small frame so we fit there,

We had a queen bed most of our marriage.

We recently bought a king and love it. especially when I was HUGE pregnant with last baby and now cosleeping with him at 6 months. It is so nice to be able to toss and turn and have pillows without bothering anyone else in the bed.

 

We are blessed to have a large bedroom. In addition to the king bed, there is a small sofa type bench under the window for little people (if a toddler is sick, they come sleep there at night) and a small recliner for me or dh to sleep in when sick or with sick baby (nothing worse when terribly congested with a head cold than laying flat in bed).

 

This is lovely for us, but our bedroom is a bit like the oasis of peace in the house. It is where everyone drifts for quiet conversation, to watch a non g rated movie, to play a boardgames without little people messing it up, to read....

We have a Queen-sized bed. I love our bed. We got it at a trading post in Austin years ago when we were newlyweds. If it weren't for my bed that I love, I would ditch it for a King-sized in a heart beat, especially since our bed is really the family bed most nights. ;)
