Mama Bear is such a fabulous lady, and it would be awesome if they could win the money! This is what they do: $5000 provides at least one weeks’ worth of clothing for 16 individual clients, who are care-takers of someone with special needs. This includes shoes and some accessories. Some clients' clothes and shoes are literally falling apart, but medical necessities come first. There isn't much time left to help them win--please go vote! Access to medications and other life-saving services are top priority. We look for those people who are on the knife’s edge of poverty and provide them with gently used quality clothing. Each wardrobe is tailored to meet their specific needs. Clothing services often turn into opportunities to connect hardworking but isolated caregivers with other resources that can strengthen them and their families.
