scrapbookbuzz
On Tuesday, I woke up being stiff and sore, mostly in my back (muscles, not spine, really). I attributed it to my carb binge the night before (hush, Jean ;)). But then it lasted for days. Some here said it could be a virus. Yesterday and today I felt much better, except for tonight. Of course, I"m sure my all day scrapbooking didn't help :tongue_smilie:. Anyway, About two hours ago I took one Aleve and close to an hour later took another one. I'm STILL sore. So, I'm asking all of you, what do recommend I do now? Any OTC or natural remedy suggestions? :bigear:

Jean in Newcastle
Epsom salt will help the pain? I do have some. If it is muscular it will. Epsom salts are magnesium. If you are tensed up because of a magnesium deficiency (not uncommon) the magnesium is best absorbed through the skin. If your muscles are swollen at all, the epsom salts will draw out toxins and fluid. Plus the heat of the bath can help relax things.
scrapbookbuzz
I might just do that. I have several "new" books (read: bought recently at yards sales and/or the library book sale) that I can pick from to hvae something to read while I"m in there. scrapbookbuzz
It did help some, Jean. Thanks! For future reference, anyone else have any other suggestions?
Lacie
Mustard Seed Bath - they are so good. Get the water as hot as you can stand it. Put in the powder, get in and relax until the water gets chilly. You can get them at health food shops. Hope you feel better soon.
LaxMom
Skullcap tincture is very helpful for pain and specifically muscle relaxation. I take my calcium supplement at night because it has magnesium and I figure why not capitalize on the muscle relaxing properties if I'm taking it anyway. ;)
