  1. I would like to try it if you still have a code available.
  2. The Nana in my family was the maternal grandmother. But when she passed just before her great-grandchild was born, her daughter (soon to be paternal grandmother) was asked to take the name
  3. I am improving on Symbacort. But I want to make sure that I never go through what I have the past week again. Thanks for any suggestions.

  7. Witch hazel dries them out quickly
  8. I have something in mind but it's hard to explain. People who pat each other on the back on Facebook, the lovefest... you want to tell them to get a room. Example: OP: (insert brilliant thought here) Liked by: SP SP comment: you are so awesome Liked by: OP OP comment: thanks. You are awesome too. Liked by: SP SP comment: no I really mean it, you are so awesome Liked by: OP I know some people who do this all the time. Different topic and comments everything, but the same basic idea. I love you more, no I love you more... Ridiculous. That and people who get on Facebook to whine about life and how horrible they are so that they get all the lovey dovey comments.
  9. There are some masks make out of fabric that you can buy. They block airborne particles. And they have some that are thicker that help with cold air too.
  10. Put squash and onion in a pan, cover with water, boil until soft, drain, add salt, pepper and 1 T sugar/Splenda (approx), mash with potato masher. Serve hot.
  11. I don't post much, but I lurk and keep up with all the happenings. Normally I wouldn't post something like this but they are in need and I know that this is a wonderful group for banding together to help people in need. A retired preacher and his wife had $1500 stolen from them at their booth (they sell his woodworking projects and some women's accessories). He has heart and knee problems, the stress from this theft cannot be good for him. If you can't help, can you please share it so that others might. Thanks. http://www.gofundme.com/retiredpreacher
  12. Our boys have had suits for a while now. They wear them every Sunday. We buy ours at Burlington Coat Factory. The last ones we bought were size 6 and they cost $25, pretty reasonable I think. They do have some that cost more though.
  13. My boys both did this, it freaked me out. Not because I thought there was something wrong with them, but because I wondered if they could see something I couldn't. Kinda the same way I get freaked out in the house alone, I hear a noise and wonder who else is in the house. It is normal. They thought about something funny or felt a breeze or something else we wouldn't even notice.
  14. I'm so sorry for you Rosie. I will get squares sent off soon. Our house is a double wide mobile home. 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath, on a pier foundation with a large covered front porch.
  15. So pretty. I wish I had an occasion coming up that called for a special cake.
  16. Pregnancy clinics will do a test and give her paperwork.
  17. I have kidney stones. I have passed two with the help of meds from the dr. This time it is too big. I got a kidney infection , was in the hospital for 3 days and went home with a stent (which I still have). My mil asked if I would take some herbal supplements. Then she bought me marshmallow root, hydrangea and some evoo and lemons. They said to take two pills each 3-5 times a day and to mix 1 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice and 1 oz evoo, drink that 2-4 times a day. The pills are supposed to help break the stones and make them spongey. The drink is supposed to help with pain. I have been doing that for a week. I have passed little bits of stone and am not in pain, I still have mild discomfort but no "pain". I am pleased with the treatment so far. I'm sorry you are having such a rough time.
  18. It was 80 yesterday. Right now it is 18. We have has sleet this morning and are now getting light snowfall. I'm so done with winter.
  19. People bring this one up often... But I have always wondered why Donald Duck wears a shirt with no pants but wraps a towel around his waist when he gets out of the shower.
  20. My youngest was diagnosed as a baby with an egg allergy, milk and soy protein intolerance and lactose intolerance. The egg allergy showed up on skin testing and he reacted with a full body rash. The milk and soy intolerance did not show up on skin testing, but he would vomit and have diarrhea until he was dehydrated. I was told that allergies can change when hormones change: age 2, 3, 5, teenage, pregnancy, menopause, andropause. At age 3 he was able to eat eggs finally with no reaction, he still does not like them though. At age 5 he was able to drink soy milk and we finally got up the nerve to trial him on milk at age 6. He eats everything now and has not had any issues. We still keep a watch out for anything interesting and I will watch closer when he starts reaching teenage years. It is definitely possible with some people, but you have to be very careful with trials... they can be dangerous.
  21. It stays good for a long time. I need to make some and I will as soon as I can get out of my house. My aunt always made hers with Cheetos.
  22. As long as it's not buffet style, I think you should be able to order whatever you want. Maybe an adult wants the smaller portion from a kids menu. So places include drinks with the kids meals, I would expect to pay for a separate adult drink.
