If you are looking for a different handwriting style, here are some Italic handwriting resources:

1. Gunnlaugur Briem's website: http://www.briem.net/

The Briem site has a free font, lots of helpful info on handwriting improvement and copywork for practicing the Italic letter forms. It also contains a huge 40Mb video that is very helpful. In fact, if you properly browse through the site, there is a lot of good info you'll find.

2. Penny Gardner's e-book called "Italics: Beautiful Handwriting for Children": http://www.pennygardner.com/italicsbk.html

This is a PDF document, so you can print multiple copies for your students. Very affordable at US$7 from Currclick.com.

You can also look at Penny Gardner's videos on YouTube. They are very helpful for learning the Italics cursive joins.

3. Jennifer Guest has provided free Getty-Dubay Italics alphabet practice sheets:

4. Downunder Literature has a free Italics alphabet practice book that uses the New South Wales Foundation (Italic) font: http://www.homeschoolingdownunder.com/English_homeschool_resources/free_alphabet_copywork.html
