mum
I need some 7th grade science, not too much reading, but still content rich, with good diagrams, some hands on activities. Am I dreaming? FOr a smart but not into reading volumes, kid who likes to do it on her own. Anyone have any recommendations???

PeterPan
Well after a few flops this year, we're going to try the Chemistry 101 that Timberdoodle sells. They have samples, so you can see it for yourself. It's dvd's with a disc of print-outs and labs I think, haven't gotten it yet.
mandymom
We really like ClassiQuest Biology. It has several reference books for reading each week, but each week's reading assignment only involves a 2-4 pages. There is reading, vocabulary (2-10 words), timeline work, memory work, and a lab each week. It really is VERY doable, and my 5th and 6th graders both work on it independently. I help with the lab most weeks, but that is just because I like science labs :001_smile:
