NavyWifeandMommy
The young whale learns about life. She is taught by her mother and together they travel from HI to AK. She learns the ways to eat and faces Killer Whales. On the way back her mother leaves her. This is what was given to me after watching a documentry on whales. plain jane
2nd or 3rd grade? Just a guess. Christine :iagree: That sounds very much like something my dd in 2nd grade would write. Edited October 31, 2011 by plain jane
Legomom
I agree with 2nd or 3rd grade. It also depends on how much the student was asked to write.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I can see my sophomore son turning this into me. (It would make me want to scream, but I can still see him trying to get away with it.) :glare:
Coffeemama
Third grade....but if I didn't specify a length, my fifth grade DD who loves to write (on her own terms), may have written something like this... I have come to terms with the fact that I need to be very specific in my expectations.:glare:
go_go_gadget
That would be a typical narration from my second grader, and also typical of the writing of most of my fellow students at university (I'm an undergrad). So there's a bit of a range there.
Tabrett
Was it all spelled correctly with the abbreviations of the states used? If so, I am going to say a 7th grader who is trying to get done with their work quickly. I think it could be a typical narration for 2nd or 3rd grade, but I don't think it would be normal for a 2nd or 3rd grader to be able to write everything as correctly as you have it demonstrated. So, in which grade is the dc?:bigear:
