Chelle in MO
I read the first 4 words of your thread title to ds16 and he loudly groaned, "Nooooo, Moooom!" :D Edited October 25, 2011 by Chelle in MO
Halcyon
I read the first 4 words of your thread title to ds16 anh he loudly groaned, "Nooooo, Moooom!" :D :lol: Seriously, he might actually like this site--some very cool stuff. DS is making the octahedron as we speak. Granted, a bit basic for a 16 year old, but still.

Granted, a bit basic for a 16 year old, but still. I'll bet he would! I'll have to encourage him to take a peek. He's just so "mathed-out" this semester that he couldn't help resisting the idea of anything else math-related coming into his life! He worked on geometry all summer and didn't quite get finished. Now that's on the back burner because he's taking a community college class w/a very particular professor and is doing his level best to get an A. Half the students FAIL the class, so you can imagine how difficult an A is! Anyhow, you didn't need all that detail! :D Thanks for the encouragement to check out the website! Doesn't sound like he needs MORE math right now ;) Just bookmark it for down the line, when he needs to remember the "fun" of math. :)

Margo out of lurking
I've had this tab open for a week, thinking dd might be interested in the link. I'm personally still stuck on "fun" and "geometry" together though, lol. :D Thanks for posting!
