I'd love to start my rising 10th grader with gov't over the summer so we are well into it before the election. Awaiting the avalanche of wonderful ideas! I'm actually hoping to get the newly released 11th edition if I can find enough reasonably-priced for the class. Though I'll use it over a short year (September - mid-April), this book is used by many high schools in a semester course. It's a college text that we're using to prepare for the AP exam. I just started and my son really enjoys them, and it's actually one subject that he WANTS to talk about (and part of that is because there isn't a book. . .weird, huh?) Personally, I like actual books, but it is an option. Yes, I saw that as well. I'm with you, though, I'd much rather have the actual book; otherwise I'll burn through $200 of printer ink just printing it out. :001_smile: I have found some used copies that I will be ordering.
