NoPlaceLikeHome
We are not an ipad family even though it is tempting;) We have android phones and a tablet. I would love to hear of any educational apps. I am especially interested in history timelines (with pictures and facts would be a plus), advanced grammar concepts, foreign languages, geography, and science. I am thinking for upper grammar, middle school, and up. I appreciate any info.
boscopup
:lurk5: Android family here too. I have an ipod touch, but I much prefer the android, and haven't used the touch much since getting an android phone.
theYoungerMrsWarde
:lurk5: My kids get a kick watching dh play Angry Birds and Cut the Rope, but not exactly "educational." I'd really like an ABC game for ds#2, but all the ones I looked at for ipad (which we don't have) did not look good. I'm surprised HOP hasn't made an app yet... boscopup
So is there anything like Noterize for the Android tablet? DH is thinking about getting us a tablet, but it'd be nice to be able to do things like work math on it (MM - pdf). Being able to use a stylus on a pdf would be very cool. Amirah
I'm so glad for someone starting this thread. I really want to get a tablet for my own personal school work but I am also thinking about something for my lil one to be able to use as well. I have a ipod touch and really am considering an ipad just for the apps available so i am hoping android has quite a few so i can save some money
