joyfulhomeschooler
We got a new computer recently and apparently it doesn't have excel on it. I need to make our schedule for the coming week any ideas on how I can do this without excel?
Melissa B
Google documents is online and free. If you go to google.com and look along the top there is a pull down menu that says 'more.' Just click on documents
icedlatte
If you don't plan to get Excel at some point and want something similar installed on your computer, Open Office is free. Open Office's Calc program is a spreadsheet program and it can open Excel documents and save in Excel format as well if you will need to exchange files with others. If it's just for a short period, then I'd go with google docs.
TeaCookiesBears
:iagree: I agree with the first two posters. IMO they are the best free options on the market. Almost forgot Microsoft does offer free online office that works like Google docs. I have used it once and it worked fine for me.
joyfulhomeschooler
Thanks :) I made a schedule in google docs but now I can't get it to print? Grr this is frustrating. I am about ready to just write it by hand so I can be done.
