Runningmom80
I got the idea from someone here. Here is the link if you want to check it out, http://www.kindercone.com/ If so, what did you put in it?
Chris in VA
We did for several years. I just put in new school supplies, like crayons, nice colored pencils, a little packet of stationary, Mirado pencils, new journal, some fun snacks, and I think a game or two (a card game of some sort, I think--Blink, maybe, and some geography cards? Can't remember!). I made one for 3 years for my high schooler, too--new stapler one year, pencils, etc--his had more food, I think! Spryte
Pencils, smencils, markers, erasers, tape (my guy has a tape fetish), stickers, little notepads, art supplies, small snacks, little toys - some fidgety type things to hold while listening to read alouds, new headphones, dice (he loves dice), card games, anything little and fun that seems remotely school-related is fair game. The Target dollar spot probably has a lot, although I haven't looked this year as we have a lot of little extras already. I don't buy the pre-made cones, although they look cute. I make ours out of poster board and decorate with stickers.
bnbacademy
We did this for the first time to start school 2 weeks ago. It was a big hit! Besides some practical items, I placed fabric markers in with some solid-colored shirts. The boys then printed our school name and drew pics to make school shirts. skueppers
I did a Schultüte for my daughter last year and will do one for my son next year. Hers had maze books, her favorite popcorn, a couple of fiddle toys, fruit leather, stickers... I don't think I put much in the way of actual school supplies in it. :)
