Tranquility7
Wait - so the response by ztwist about the author changing the ending was spam?? How did you know that? It sure didn't look like spam to me (it came through on my email)!
Chrysalis Academy
No no, something else was spam. If you buy Dogs from ZTwist, it includes the sticker as described in the previous post.

I'm very confused!
TexasRachel
There's a post missing. It was spam and has since been deleted. Look at Jay3fer's post for a reply from Ztwist.
unfrumpable.
So, who has LoF Edgewood? What happens next?
Chrysalis Academy
So, who has LoF Edgewood? What happens next? Nothing. This is an annoying feature of the series, there is not a lot of continuity from book to book. Dogs are not mentioned in Edgewood. In Goldfish, Fred gets a pet goldfish. At the beginning of Farming, it dies, and he throws it in the trash and moves on - no emotion, nothing. I actually found this a *lot* more disturbing than the Dogs thing. I'm always surprised that people ARE surprised about how death is treated in animals in these books, given how in the second book, a bell tower falls on a PERSON and he dies (because he wasn't doing what he was supposed to, or something like that--I can't remember exactly and I sold that one), and that pretty much sets the tone for the entire series. :tongue_smilie:

I read through the whole other thread and see that a sticker with closure was added to the end of dogs.
