Hunter's Moon
We have Stonyfield Farms Organic Yogurt and it has smooth lumps, if that makes any sense. They look like lumps, and you can see them in with the smooth yogurt, but when my mom ate some she can't tell there are any lumps. It smells fine and she says tastes fine. It was just opened today and expiration is Sept. 3rd. It also had flakes on top and on the lid when we first opened it but they were mixed in. Is it okay to eat or should we toss it? AK_Mom4
If yogurt smells ok and tastes ok, I would probably eat it. But I have no idea what the lumps are...... bumping for better advice for you!
Elfinlady
Eat it. I have Stoneyfield Farms yogurt for breakfast every morning. I've found the lumps tend to smooth out if you stir it a bit in your bowl.
Sputterduck
It's yogurt. It's gone bad by definition! I would eat it.
Forget-Me-Not
I would guess the cream didn't get mixed in well and formed lumps when it got very cold? If it smelled fine, I'd eat it.
