ma23peas
Here are three hugs and a little humor :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Two years ago, we were paying our 27th month of two mortgages, our 10 year old daughter was mistreated by pediatricians and ER...she lost 33 pounds (was 82 and went down to 49)..saw 15 specialists at Vanderbilt, Children's Hospital, our local hospital and had an appointment for Mayo clinic. Essentially, she had a raging strep infection that no one would ever culture b/c they said strep would not close off her airway...they treated her aggressively with steroids which sent the strep ruling her body for over a year. The horse we bought thinking it was a saddle club child's horse was a illicit horse trader's way of drugging it, putting her daughter on it and selling us a horribly terribly abused walking horse that would not let a human near him for 3 months. Took my farrier 4 hours just to trim the front feet! Forward two years...the house finally sold, my daughter's health is restored, she is irish dancing 5 hours a week and on a performance team (two years ago, I cried long nights afraid her body would not withstand the pain she went through...) and that horse..he's the best thing ever, it took 2 years of care and commitment, but he's going to help us fulfill our dream of running a summer camp for foster children..his story will go far in encouraging them on their path... Time, faith, and apple pie crust (I gained 50 pounds during all that stress and am working my tail off to get it back off)...but things do improve...in the midst of our fires, I knew that one day I would not be in THAT setting...circumstances change, sometimes better-sometimes worse...but they do change...take heart!
