Another Khan Academy / Google account question

Okay, here I come: ready to out myself as a complete computer dummy...:D

I understand that each child need his own Google account to use Khan academy, hence my plan to create multiple accounts for myself, and then "lending" them to my kids...;)

But, how do I do this???

I get stopped cold in the very beginning, when I have to indicate a fall-back e-mail address. I can't create a second account with an address already used...

That means I would need four different e-mail addresses (me + three kids) to start with...

What am I missing?

How can I get myself that many e-mail addresses???

I just learned something cool from my husband! If you have a gmail account, you can add anything after your address name and before the @ with a "+" sign and google will ignore it. So you can use:

myemail+child @gmail.com (take out the space)

and it will look like a different address to Khan, but not to google.

I just set up goodreads.com accounts for my readers doing this :) Hope that helps!

Also can just use a "." instead of the "+" :001_smile:
