chpiper
My 10 yr old has done tons of American history, and only touched on anything else history related...so I would like to do a World History or Ancient History of some sort...but am unsure of exactly the direction she should go... She is an avid reader...doesn't mind reading textbooks or living reading books...she reads above her grade level...doesn't mind workbooks, but doesn't care to do much busywork... And we don't have a big budget for this...we can only get to a library once a week, and out library is so so as far as selection goes... Any ideas??? chpiper
And I forgot to mention...she likes to do her work as independently as possible...
abbeyej
Look at History Odyssey level 2 materials... Very independent.
mschickie
What about Story of the World? I know lots of folks whose kids read those independently. You can usually find them used too.
