Hunter's Moon
Does anyone have any tips for keeping an Epi-Pen room temp.? It's hot up here and I'll be out and about all day. My dad suggested bringing a lunch box with an ice pack, but it says not to refrigerate, either. I need to keep it with me at all times, but obviously keeping it in my purse would make it hot. Any suggestions?
amo_mea_filiis.
Google epi-pen case for summer. If we're going anywhere in the heat for too long, I'll put our's in the cooler with food (we have 6). It's not too cold, but not out in the heat either.
Spryte
We use an insulated case. I think ours is called KozyEpi, but we chose it based on the patterns available - there should be many insulated cases available if you google. I wouldn't put it with an ice pack, but if you keep it clipped to your belt, and if it's insulated, it should be okay.
Starr
Could you wrap it in one of those grocery insulated bags? They don't cost much and could be cut into pieces. Or do you have an insulated lunch box? and newspaper is a good insulator. I wouldn't worry unless it's very hot.
