pamela&claire
Sorry if this has been discussed before but I'm just wondering when to start either one. I'd like to start as early as possible for both but my question is when? And can I or should I start them at the same time. I want DD to learn french since we're in Canada. Sahamamama
Start French now, orally. Continue with French all the way through. Add in Latin at about age 8 or 9. HTH.
pamela&claire
Yes, that does help. Thank you.
Laura Corin
We started a modern foreign language early, then added in Latin at age 8 or 9. It's worked fine. We added in an extra MFL after Latin. Laura
SnMomof7
So, which French would you use orally? We haven't done any at this point, but are doing Latin :).
