Penny from Tenny
Do I buy this used for almost $100 less OR pre-order the newer edition that is coming out in July for $185? I hate this kind of stuff - is the newer edition supposed to be all that?
TheReader
The new edition is supposed to be interactive CDs, like the lower levels of TT. So, in the old version, you cannot enter your answers on the computer/CD, it doesn't grade the problems, etc. It still does have each problem worked on the CDs if you need to see it, I think, but you don't get the auto grading function or gradebook or anything like that. If that doesn't bother you, the old one is fine. If you want the interactive aspect, where your student can enter his answers and have automatic feedback, you want to wait for the new one. HTH! (incidentally, my sister is named Penny & lives in TN!)
praisefor3
There is a big difference between the old edition and the new edition. If you want to resell it, you will have a hard time reselling the old edition.
DawnM
I am getting the new version because I want the upgrade and I want the option of it working on a Mac. I probably won't resell it anytime soon because I have 3 kids to use it on. Dawn
Penny from Tenny
O.K. - so it sounds like the newer edition IS all that. Thanks for the input. I truly appreciate it!
