Embassy
How do I keep rabbits out of my fenced in backyard. I tried blocking off all the gate areas that had ways to slip under, but found that they could slip under small areas too. Is there any way to keep them out of the garden where they are eating food without hurting them? I can't fence off the areas any more than they are already fenced. homefront
Chicken wire is the only thing that has worked here, buried around bottom 6 inches. Edited May 11, 2011 by homefront oops

Sometimes they still get in. Silly Rabbits drive me crazy!
OrganicAnn
There are "Have a Heart" traps. Where you can catch the rabbits and then transport them miles away to a nice forest or wild life area.
SonshineLearner
Usually you're not suppose to introduce animals that come in your yard... out to the "country" as you can take some diseases out for the "wild ones" to deal with. Don't know about rabbits though... ;)

I know, the BB gun option isn't popular on this board. Sorry.

If using the BB gun option ensure that it is legal in the town where you live. Rabbit flesh makes some really nice stew as well but one needs to be careful of ticks etc if doing this and cook the flesh well. In some areas rabbits can carry some nasty diseases.
