Nan in Mass
I brought my middle one, who arrived home from college last night at midnight, coffee in bed. And oldest and roommate are coming home tonight, equally late. Unfortunately, everybody goes away again after next week, but today I am a happy mummy! Nan in Mass
: ) Well, so far, they haven't hatched any particularly exciting plans. Nobody got stopped by the police for tooling around town on an elderly lawn tractor riding double with their roommate. Nobody decided to go searching for applewood in people's yards to smoke a turkey. Nobody set out to go fishing in peasoup fog. Nobody decided to use their rock-climbing equipment to climb all the big trees on the hill. Nobody fought off coyotes. My youngest is trying to turn his laser pointer into a soldering iron, which is a bit worrisome, and I am putting two sons and roommate on airplanes this weekend to go off on adventures, but meanwhile things have been pretty quiet. Just nice little camping trips (hopefully on a known somebody's land) and fishing expeditions (hopefully licensed) in town. I'm hoping it isn't the calm before the storm. Lisa, I spent a week getting ready to leave for a week, then a week peacewalking, then school vacation week making three sundresses for myself, and then a week trying to get back into the school schedule, difficult because youngest's best friend's father had heart surgery and youngest wanted to do nothing but escape into video games. And various other things happened to keep me off the computer. : ) -Nan
