katnorman
I will have a 1st grader in the fall, but I am wondering when most do a state and US history study?? I'm sure it's probably for a little older, but any suggestions and curriculum for it would be great!!:bigear: Thanks!!

Homemama2
Well, our state has public school kids do state history in fourth (and US history all the years). But since we aren't in ps, we can do it whenever we choose. :001_smile: (At least for our state)
lulubelle
We have been doing Evan-Moor mapping/geography workbooks for a few years now and I think we went a bit too fast! It starts to assume the student knows the states in the workbook for grade 4. So, this year for 3rd grade, I am having my ds work on the U.S. Then, we will return to the workbooks.
