sheryl
As many of you may already know the postage stamp is going up by 1 penny effective May 12. This is not a rant or whatever it's called, just FYI......... Sheryl <><
Sue G in PA
Nope, didn't know. Thanks for that info. I have an entire book of $.41 stamps that will definitely not get used by then...guess I'll need to buy those stupid $.01 stamps to use w/ them...again...:glare:
Krista in LA
Thanks for the reminder. Time to buy more forever stamps.
sheryl
Yes, as Krista said you can still buy the forever stamps which are the best bet. Once they are gone though, they are gone. My dh suggested going in to "swap" out some odd ball stamps (1,2 cents etc) and the p.o. does NOT exchange stamps. FYI....It took me an hour to determine what stamps I had, all spread out on the counter and my dd with me, and then I calculated what we needed. WHEW! 4arrows
I bought about 80 "forever" stamps last month. I de-test having to buy those .01 stamps (and I've had to do it frequently in the past!).
sheryl
That's the way to do it!! I learned the hard way. LOL! I bought about 80 "forever" stamps last month. Tutor
Bumping this up. I recalled hearing that postage rates were going up in May, and just prepared a bunch of bills to send out. Good thing I checked, 'cause it's today!
