Does anyone have a favorite book of quotations?

I really like the book, Character Building Copywork. It has famous quotations, scripture verses (if that appeals to you, if not you could skip them), etc. I honestly cannot remember which website I purchased it on, but you could Google it and find it. It was inexpensive, too. Another is Spelling Wisdom which is meant to be used for dictation exercises but could easily be used for copywork as well. I don't have it but you can check out http://www.simplycharlottemason.com and download a sample. HTH

I agree with Harp and Laurel Wreath but I also like Scholastic Treasury of Quotations for Children by Adrienne Betz. I like that it is divided into subjects like Dreams and Goals, Envy, Success, Anger, Ability and Talent, etc.

Alot of the entries are shorter, but they have a message!

btw there is also a short biography on all the quoted authors!
