Bad Things Happen in Threes, Right?

Recommended Posts

Today we bought our new car. Yeah! We just drove it in the driveway, and while were were trying to program the garage door opener thing in the visor, the garage door went down and caught on the back door of the vehicle and scratched it up. Then, DD walked in the house and threw up all over the place. Then, while I was cleaning up puke, DS spilled an enormous cup of milk all over.

I do still like the car, though. At least she didn't throw up in the car.

I'm so sorry that happened! Glad it wasn't too bad. My similar story (you were wanting company in your misery, weren't you? :001_smile:) is when we picked up my kids at my sister's house in the new van we had just signed for, I backed into my sister's neighbor's mailbox. :glare:

I don't remember two additional bad things happening that day, though--sorry!

In my family it does. This past month my sister's dog, my mom's dog and my dog all passed away. :(
