creekmom
Since we might be getting a lot of snow this week, I wanted to give the kids a chance to preserve a few flakes... http://www.wikihow.com/Preserve-Snowflakes I think my kids will love it! - Also, Amazon has a great list of snowflake books... http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Snowflakes-picture-focusing-snowflakes/lm/R3M450797D286I/ref=cm_lmt_srch_f_1_rsrsrs0 Thought someone might be interested. :001_smile:

FlutterbyMommy
Excellent! We just made a snowflake with Borax, but my daughter wanted to save a real snowflake. We live in the Atlanta area and snow is seldom. We may get more tomorrow and this would be fabulous! Thanks for sharing!:001_smile:

blakereese
This looks awesome!!!! My son would love this, and we have studied snowflakes a lot in the past weeks. This would be a great addition to the study. Has anyone tried this? Any tips or other info?? Gotta check my kitchen drawer for super glue! :001_smile:

creekmom
I just wanted to add that another website said to put out a piece of cardboard to collect the flakes, and use a magnifying glass to pick the ones you want to keep. Also, instead of tweezers, pick up the snowflake with a small artist's paintbrush. Hope it works!
