Alenee
Looking for a stand-alone geography program for my 6th/7th grader. What I would like is mapping, memorization, possibly other supporting activities. Any ideas?

Irishmommy
I am looking at Trail Guide of American History for next year to use with our American history next year. They also have a World history one and it is on sale right now at Currclick.

Just skimming their websites has me excited! :)
Poke Salad Annie
What about following the travels of Richard Halliburton in his Book of Marvels?

I really want to try this program in the future. http://www.ellenjmchenry.com/id151.html I really like the looks of this! Netflix has a movie of Alaska that could be used with the sample youtube video for drawing Alaska. And Smithsonian has some free stuff about the native peoples spread over Siberia and Alaska. It could all be combined into a little winter unit :-)
