Prairie~Phlox
Bil got me one, but I'm going to take it back. It doesn't have removeable plates, and I think I would prefer one that did. Thanks.
Annie G
I have a Cuisinart Griddler- the one with reversible plates. We've had it for almost 2 years and it gets lots of use. Panini, grilled veggies, grilled chicken, and then opening it and using it as a griddle...it gets a workout. The plates are easy to clean, there are no hot spots, and it's easy to regulate the temperature.

helena
This is the one we have: http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-GR-1-Griddler-Panini-Sandwich/dp/B000CPZXGO The grills don't come out, but it's been very easy to keep clean. We love it.
jg_puppy
I have been looking for something like this as well. I noticed there are several different Cuisinart Griddler products. Has anyone compared the different models? Jan
Annie G
I didn't even know there were different models. When I bought mine, I saw only removable plates, but noticed that the same model number was on boxes that had reversible plates and also the ones with two sets of plates. I wanted reversible so I opened the box to be sure what I was buying. I thought the box with two sets were just the outdated model. I don't think I'd like a griddler without plates that are removable. I have the GR-4N. Prairie~Phlox
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=13383103 THis is the same on on Amazon for 95$, but I think with a 20% off coupon, that would be a good deal.
