Can you recommend a panini press?

Recommended Posts

I have a Cuisinart Griddler- the one with reversible plates. We've had it for almost 2 years and it gets lots of use. Panini, grilled veggies, grilled chicken, and then opening it and using it as a griddle...it gets a workout.

The plates are easy to clean, there are no hot spots, and it's easy to regulate the temperature.

I didn't even know there were different models. When I bought mine, I saw only removable plates, but noticed that the same model number was on boxes that had reversible plates and also the ones with two sets of plates. I wanted reversible so I opened the box to be sure what I was buying. I thought the box with two sets were just the outdated model.

I don't think I'd like a griddler without plates that are removable.

I have the GR-4N.
