Starr
We have vegetarian friends visiting that make stuffed shells for Christmas dinner. And we have some grandpas that want meat. The veggies are okay with that but what can I make that all goes together? I'm at the fried brain stage of Christmas. :D

Dawn in OH
My grandmother always made a ham dinner with the usual sides (mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggie) an in addition had either stuffed shells or a vegetarian lasagne. Because the family was so large, there was also a turkey and stuffing.
Tammyla
I would make what ever your traditional dinner is and make sure it included a good sauce for the shells, a salad, maybe a veggie dish, a delicious bread and dessert.
