It was clear here in SE VA, but the moon was so high in the sky it looked like a small melon, and it was to darn cold to drag our telescope outside. Monarch Room Posted December 21, 2010 Share Posted December 21, 2010 Wow! We set our alarm last night, but it ended up being too cloudy here in Missouri. Thanks for posting the pictures and video. We woke up our 8 year old anyway because we promised him we would. There was a slight red glow through the clouds, so I suppose it was better than seeing nothing at all.
