catalinakel
Went as a kid in the 70's, havent' been there since. Have a chance to take the kids(12 & 14) for great price next week. Kids aren't jaded at all, only been to Dland twice. What say HIve. Is knott's great or just so-so?
Ellie
If you haven't been since the 70s, you're in for a surprise. :-) Knott's isn't as good as Disneyland, but it's fun. And if you are able to get tickets for a great price, then of course you should do it. :-)

We had a great time when we went last time. There are enough big kid rides to even keep my dh and bil happy. We highly recommend the chicken restaurant right outside fro dinner. It has great food with huge portions.:001_smile:
mykdsmomy
I agree with the pp's. D-land is by far superior to Knotts and personally I think Knotts has gone downhill since they changed hands...but it's still fun (especially if you're more into fast rides/etc). Have fun!!! Lolly
My kids must be strange. They preferred Knox to Disney. Honestly. They were so disappointed in Disney. The lines. The waits. The attitude of the workers. We were spoiled by Dollywood. Then Knox Berry Farm was great. It made up for Disney. (I admit they did like California Adventures alright.)
