sditz1
Should I buy the teachers guide to go with the workbooks? Thanks
MaMa2005
We are about to start Horizons Grade 5 after Christmas and I have yet to buy a TE. However, others swear by them for the extra material/explanations contained within.
Dinsfamily
I didn't find it useful, either.

Snowfall
I only use it for reinforcement, but I have the TMs and don't see anything useful as far as explaining the concepts in them to be honest. However, one of them does have extra worksheets. I don't know if you'd need them if you're only using Horizons, since it's pretty heavy on the worksheets anyway at one 2-sided sheet per day, but I have used a few from there that I found useful, so I might recommend that TM and just not the other. MissKNG
Did you already buy the workbooks? If not, don't forget Rainbow Resource is offering free shipping for orders over $25 - ending 12/16. I'm planning on picking up Horizons 3 before then because of that deal!
