Perry
It's not getting good reviews on Amazon. I loved Pillars of the Earth and WWE, and was really looking forward to this one. If you've read it, what did you think?
Stacia
I haven't read it (& I wasn't a fan of Pillars), but I heard a recent interview w/ him: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=130110874 I am curious to hear reviews too... :lurk5:
Joy at Home
It's on my Nook now:001_smile: I'll probably start it this week. Pillars was a favorite of mine, never read the sequel. I haven't read any reviews yet. What are they saying? I love historical fiction . . .

There were hundreds of reviews, so I just scanned through them. It looks like many of the bad reviews are actually complaints about the price, rather than the story. The actual reviews I've read were that the story is good old Ken Follett, but not worth the giant price tag.
stephanier.1765
I'm a little more than half way through it but I love it. I'm also ashamed to say that I'm learning more about WWI than I ever knew before.

At first glance at Barnes & Noble it seems the average was 1-2 stars, but scanning through they were all complaints about teh price. I totally agree though, the download price is the same as hardback:confused: I thought I was supposed to save money on e-books?
