T'smom
I have a quick question regarding milk supply. My dd has been sleeping for 4 hours, nursing on only one side, and then sleeping another 4 hours. I can't get her to nurse on both sides in the middle of the night- she's out like a light. Since one side is going 8 hours between feedings- will this adversely affect my milk supply?

It was one side, then they were done. Just be sure to alternate sides! Your body has an amazing ability to adjust to the baby's needs. If she is hungry, she will nurse more, and your body will make sure milk. Best of luck.

Only one of my 4 babies nursed on both sides before falling asleep. I just alternate sides. I have never had a supply issue.

Mama_Rana
Breasts are amazing. They will learn the pattern, and make the milk when it's needed and where. Overall your supply will not go down, though maybe one side will make more at different times of the day. :D <
