Blueridge
My transcript program *highly* suggests that I put the term 'Tutorial Program' after our home school name...WWYD?
Aubrey
I wouldn't. I think it sounds remedial or extra somehow; not like "real" school.

Dobela
I wouldn't. I think it sounds remedial or extra somehow; not like "real" school. :iagree: You are not a tutorial program, you are a school or academy.
Parrothead
:iagree: You are not a tutorial program, you are a school or academy. They could be an institute. Or maybe an institution.

Corraleno
I agree with everyone else — but I'm really curious as to why someone would even suggest this??? Are they unfamiliar with homeschooling, and somehow think it sounds more official than "Smith Homeschool" (or whatever)? Or are they being snobbish and wanting you to list yourselves as a "Tutorial Program" because they think you shouldn't "count" as a real school? Did they have one student one time who encountered one goofy admissions officer who suggested that wording, and now they insist all homeschoolers should use it? It just seems like such a bizarre suggestion to me. Jackie
