Saxon question from a newbie

What do you do with all those meeting strips? :001_huh: I mean, after you fill one out for each meeting... then what do you do with them? Throw them out, file them...?

When we did the meetings, I threw them out.

I just photocopied that meeting strips, left the paper as is, so that ds would have like 4 on a page or however many there were. We put them in his binder at the end of the math section. They'll get thrown out at the end of the year after our portfolio is turned in.

You could copy them and keep them for a portfolio ( if you need to do this or want to :>) Or you can get those sheet protectors , copy one and reuse it with a dry erase marker if you don't want to waste paper :>)

That is perfect!!!!! We just did one and I threw out the paper and thought, "Well, that's a waste of paper." I am definitely going to take your suggestion - thanks so much!!

Haha! I was thinking the same thing! We just did our first one yesterday. I used it as a bookmark for SOTW. Seemed like a waste, good idea about the sheet protector!

We're only about 25 lessons into Saxon Math 1.

 

We don't cut the strips. When we finish filling them out, I 3-hole punch the sheet and put it into the Math binder. I put the worksheets for those days behind that sheet.

 

But the write-on/wipe-off idea is intriguing me greatly!
