what vitamins do you give your kids and where do you get them?

Recommended Posts

I've done a lot of research. I give my kids Nature's Plus animal parade chewable multi-vitamin. and I also give them nature's plus ACIDOPHIKIDZ. I buy both of these at vitacost.com or luckyvitamin.com. I rotate those with a product called LIQUID HEALTH children's multi. I think i bought it from luckyvitamin.com. the liquid health is a liquid. i put it in a swallow of dark juice (cranberry/raspberry) or something like that so they can't see the color and they swallow it like a shot. can i just add that every day we have a green smoothie--blend spinach/kale/ swiss chard and frozen fruit and a little juice in a blender. please try it you won't believe how good it tastes and it's better than vitamins.

i sent you a reply and just now noticed the ages! so i would change my answer by using those same brands just picking the multi more suited to their age. and change the acidophilus to a product called PB8. sorry to confuse things.

For the 10yo and possibly the 12yo (depending on growth/size of 12yo): http://www.vitacost.com/Greens-Today-Childrens-Formula-Berry

For the 12yo if they are "older" 12: http://www.vitacost.com/Natures-Plus-Source-of-Life-Power-Teen

For you and your 18yo: http://www.vitacost.com/Natures-Way-Alive-Multivitamin-Whole-Food-Energizer-180-Tablets

This store has the best prices for any of these vitamins I have seen and the shipping is only $5. :)

Well, she does so when she remembers. Since she's not living at home, I can't do much more than nag her about it now and then. She takes the Animal Parade children's chewable that we buy at our local health food store.

For my son, we don't buy vitamins in pill form. Instead, he drinks a smoothie most mornings that includes a scoop of Spirutein powder. It includes a healthy dose of protein and lots of vitamins. I make the smoothie with calcium-fortified OJ, frozen strawberries, a banana and the Spirutein.

I buy the Spirutein at the health food store. It's expensive, though, so I'm always looking for a better price.
