Joker
I think this is what I have. It is uncomfortable to walk around barefoot and I have a small bump. What did you do? I have found some websites that say to stretch and others that say to rest and elevate? It is not so uncomfortable that I feel I need to see a dr. but I don't want to injure it any worse. TIA! DianeW88
My ballerina dd has it. When it flares up, she takes Ibuprofen (800mg) and ices it. Stretching also helps. If it's really bad, a physical therapist can do wonders. Hope you feel better soon! Joker
Thanks! There seems to be a lot of conflicting information online and I was unsure of what to do. Tomorrow I will do some easy stretching and I will also ice and see how it goes. I would probably just keep on going and not worry about it but dh saw me grimace and then looked and noticed the bump. I think he would love it if dds and I were in bubble wrap.:tongue_smilie:
lmrich
Take Tylenol for the swelling and ice it three times a day, not just when it hurts. Elevate it above your heart and wear tennis shoes with good support. Baby it now so it will not get worse. Good luck!
