funschooler5
I didn't even know they had a discussion board, until today! I requested several books from a PBS member, and she mentioned I should look at her post on the "Book Bazaar" message board. I guess PBS lets members list other books they want to swap, without actually posting them, so they can save money on postage. I requested 4 books from her the normal way, and then I looked at her list of "unlisted" books and found 2 more that I wanted (one was even on my wishlist, and had been for awhile). She told me to put the other one on my wishlist too, and then she filled both wishes specifically to me. I also noticed that they have an area there to swap damaged or written in books (PBS doesn't want anyone to post damaged books). I thought that was neat, because there are a few books I've aquired that have minimal highlighting in them, but I don't want to actually put them on my PBS bookshelf. I'm probably way behind the times, but I thought I'd share just in case there were others out there that might not know about this. :001_smile:

coffeefreak
Awesome! I had to put my account on Vacation hold because I was so overwhelmed with requests! I'll have to check out the forums after we move :)
hsmom3tn
I have started buying credits when members post them for sale there. It's a lot cheaper than buying them from PBS or shipping a book to get a credit.
