TXMary2
I am looking for a bible study for myself. I have previously done Beth Moore and Cynthia Heald studies. I also like Elizabeth George. Anyway, I haven't done a specific study on my own for several years. What are some of your favorites??
jenL
I really loved Calm My Anxious Heart by Linda Dillow. I'd also highly recommend The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. I'll be watching this thread to hear what others have to say. :)
ScoutTN
My favorites lately have been by Kathleen Nielson. I did the Psalms and Ecclesiastes and they were fabulous. They're published by Covenant College in Chattanooga, not retailed. I also like Nancy Leigh DeMoss' materials. A great book, not strictly a Bible study, but very much a walk-you-through the Scripture book is John Stott's The Cross of Christ.
freeindeed
Restore My Heart by Denise Glenn.

Liz CA
Coming in late, but I can recommend "Fearless" by Max Lucado. I can't say it's the best because I think at different times in our lives we need different perspectives. However, the issue of fear always hits me right between the eyes. FloridaLisa
Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby was paradigm-shifting for me. In addition to several Beth Moore studies, I've enjoyed some of the Precepts studies, especially Covenant. HTH, Lisa
