StephanieZ
We live in Morgantown, WV but travel to Pitt every week for music lessons. BTW, Anne, where do your dc take Suzuki lessons? We go to the PMA in Pitt every Wednesday -- dd11 and dd5 take violin there and ds8 takes guitar. . .

Anne/Ankara
Hi, Stephanie! We do our Suzuki violin & piano lessons in Wexford, PA, about 12 miles north of Pittsburgh (near our suburb). What is the PMA-- is that the Duquesne program in music? I'm asking because I am thinking of doing their Young Artists Competition in March... open to 6 years and above... looks interesting! StephanieZ
is the Pittsburgh Music Academy. It's located in Carnegie, so on the south side of Pittsburgh. It's a nice group of teachers. Maybe 12 or so teachers on violin, guitar, cello, viola, piano and flute. Jennifer Madge is their lead violin teacher/owner and she's our violin teacher. She's great. They run the summer Suzuki Institute in Pittsburgh. . . I don't know much about the Duquesne (sp??) young musicians thing; although we are planning on doing a similar thing in Wheeling this spring (for the first time).
