What other Academy's are there?

In snooping around her I stumbled across the Kolbe Academy, Angelicum...

I was wondering if there were more out there? Catholic, Christian or secular. I think I really like the concept of the lesson planning being done for me. The layout and daily expectation of work to be completed.

Also, for those using them, is it mandatory to use specifically what they recommend? I have some things already, ie All About Spelling that the girls really like, could it be subbed in?

Thanks!

For Catholic programs, there is also:

Mother of Divine Grace http://www.motherofdivinegrace.org/

St. Thomas Aquinas http://www.staa-homeschool.com

Regina Coeli http://www.reginacoeli.org/

and

Classical Liberal Arts Academyhttp://www.classicalliberalarts.com

ETA: I know Kolbe will let you substitute out some materials. You have to discuss it with a counselor. I am not sure about the others.

I know with MODG (Mother of Divine Grace) you can just buy the syllabus, so you could pick and choose what you like and substitute if you like.

Catholic Heritage Curriculum also offers teacher support and record keeping, or you can just buy the lesson plans and books without enrolling.

ETA: I was just looking at Regina Coeli (4th grade - high school as far as I can tell), and you can order individual "sections" or classes from them, instead of enrolling in the entire program. The cost is $50.00 per section plus the cost of books. They also offer "single courses," one of which is called Aesop and offers an overview of Ancient Greek culture and literature, I've heard good things about it.
